Well...there we were in June and Rolanda passed the President's 'needle' on to Pat, who is our intrepid President this year!
We are beginning this year with a trunk show by Paul Leger http://www.paullegerquilts.com/home.html and a workshop by him 'Patchwork Illusion'. We also have great plans for programs this year. We welcome new members any time. Some people think the word 'guild' means that we are all super and don't have time for people who just quilt or sew once in a while - NOT TRUE! We don't have 'quilt police', some of us just sew and quilt sometimes and we do have fun. We meet because we like to share what we do with other people who enjoy looking at quilts (many of us don't have anyone at home to appreciate our efforts!). And sometimes we share disasters and problems. We have a program and block committee who work hard to teach us new techniques and make our meetings fun, but there's no pressure. Come out and join us!
